1. Our Privacy Philosophy

BodyViz was founded on a simple, non-negotiable tenet: Your biometric and nutritional data belongs exclusively to you. Unlike mass-market health applications, we do not require you to create online profiles, we do not monitor your searches, and we do not sell your dietary habits to insurance companies, advertising networks, or third-party data brokers.

2. 100% Offline Database Processing

The core natural language processing, nutritional indexing, and body impact score calculations run entirely locally on your device. Query matches against our 40,000+ local food database are processed in memory without sending network packets to our servers. BodyViz can run completely in airplane mode with all functionalities intact.

3. Information We Collect

We compile zero telemetry. Specifically:

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth on application launch.
• No Logging History Collection: Your typed meals are stored within an encrypted local SQLite database. We do not have server access to view, download, or analyze this data.
• No Crash Analytics Tracking: We use minimal diagnostic reports provided directly by the Google Play console (only if opted-in at system level).

4. Optional Cloud Backups

If you purchase the BodyViz Premium Pass and explicitly toggle cloud synchronization, your historical meal logs are exported as cryptographically signed JSON packages directly into your private Google Drive or personal iCloud storage. We do not host, store, or possess decryption keys for these packages.

5. Medical Disclaimer

BodyViz does not collect clinical diagnostic information. The app is purely educational and motivational. It does not interface with medical records or track disease states.
